Meet Alex
Alex is a true outdoorsman with a passion for the rugged beauty of Cornwall’s coastline. He’s spent countless hours exploring the South West Coast Path, uncovering hidden beaches, and documenting the incredible wildlife that calls Cornwall home. When he’s not hiking or paddleboarding, you’ll find him fishing off the rocks or surfing the waves at Porthmeor Beach. Alex also has a knack for photography, capturing Cornwall’s dramatic landscapes and turning them into stunning visual stories that we share on Cornwall Compass.
Meet Chris
Chrissy (or Chris) is the creative soul of the duo, with a deep love for Cornwall’s artistic heritage. Growing up in St Ives, she was surrounded by the town’s vibrant art scene, and it inspired her to take up painting and pottery. Chrissy has a talent for storytelling, weaving Cornwall’s rich history, folklore, and culture into the blog’s content. She’s also a keen gardener, nurturing a traditional Cornish cottage garden filled with native plants and flowers. When she’s not busy crafting articles or creating art, Chrissy loves cooking up classic Cornish recipes like stargazy pie and saffron buns.
